Laura Nix Gerson is the Co-founder and CEO of Venture:F. where she drives the mission and vision for Venture:F, and oversees the podcast, newsletter, and platform in addition to serving as Executive Producer of the Venture:F Docuseries.
Laura has an extensive background in business development, and for more than twenty years she has advised start-ups, entrepreneurs, and businesses on growth strategy. Laura’s ability to assess opportunities in a variety of industries and company stages makes her a key asset to the founders and CEO’s who have looked to her for strategic guidance. Laura is a known connector who has a knack for making strategic introductions and creating partnerships that garner measureable results.
As an advocate for investing in women, she is actively engaged in the venture ecosystem, advising female founders and fund managers, and is focused on helping more women build health & wealth through her newsletter and podcast Venture F.

ABOUT RONA
Rona Nix is the Co-founder of Venture:F and Executive Producer of the Venture:F docuseries. Rona is a writer, producer, and director with 15+ years in TV & film, who found her way to production through her first love, acting. An early audition for a TV pilot landed her a first professional production role - as a set PA offering her a broader learning opportunity to see how all aspects of production worked.
Rona has produced numerous projects including commercials for the GA Lottery, the PGA Tour, Lowe’s, and The Weather Channel; corporate videos for Coca-Cola, US Army, Delta Airlines, and IHG Hotels & Resorts; and new media programs for Disney Interactive. She has worked in television for FOX, CBS, ABC, and on films for Academy Award nominees Alcon Entertainment, Code Black Entertainment, and Relativity Media.
Today Rona spearheads development for Nix|Gerson Media, the parent company of Venture:F, where she focuses on storytelling that celebrates women.
